My drive to make instruments comes from being a
bass player
myself. I Iearned in my apprenticeship as a
carpenter,
which I completed with a
master certificate
in1991, how to handle all different kinds of wood and how to make
unique instruments out of them.
My
most important experience were working at
Fodera in New York
and taking part in a course at the
HTL for instrument
making in
Hallstatt - Austria.
Mein
Antrieb Instrumente zu bauen, kommt daher, dass ich selbst
Bassist
bin. Den Umgang mit Holz und wie man daraus einzigartige
Instrumente baut, lernte ich in meiner
Tischler-Lehre,
welche ich 1991 mit dem
Meisterbrief abschloss.
Meine größte und wichtigste Erfahrung war die Arbeit bei
Fodera
in New York und die Absolvierung eines Kurses in der
HTL für Instrumentenbau
in Hallstadt. |
